Our church is designed as a "central" style church, modeled after churches built in Constantinople
in the 6th-8th centuries. It's prominent feature is the dome. It represents the presence of God (Christ)-The Almighty-Pantocrator)
here with us, keeping us and protecting us and being ever mindful of our life. The second important feature is that
the roof, supporting the dome, completes the visual image of a cross. Finally, the entire church and roof line gives
us the gradual "ascent" to Christ, our God. In other words from inside and outside, it slowly lifts us up
and brings us to the Almighty and All Loving God.
